Downloading OpenArena and add-ons using BitTorrent and then seeding for other downloaders is a great way to help the OpenArena community. It reduces the demand for the normal mirrors and helps ensure that everyone can get OpenArena at the best possible speeds.

NOTE: The BitTorrent releases are provided pre-extracted, unlike the other downloads that provide a ZIP file. This is to allow for partial downloads, no extraction for single-install downloaders, preview of the contents and other goodies that would not be possible otherwise. This does prevent comparison to the hash sums provided on the OpenArena website, but BitTorrent has built-in hashing, so you can be sure you get an uncorrupted download.
